WELLBEING

Our Changing World

Educators are keenly aware that developing resiliency and understanding the importance of wellbeing is key to students’ ability to cope with and successfully navigate, the complex challenges and rapid changes they face today and in the their future.

This involves helping them to handle challenges at multiple levels such as helping them understand the interconnection between individuals and social and natural systems, the impact that our actions or inaction have on ourselves, each other, on our community and beyond.

The following programs provide opportunities for students to participate in stories, music and song, dance, spoken word as well creative interdisciplinary experiences that will help them identify and develop the myriad of skills, knowledge, and resiliency they’ll need to thrive and to be a positive force for change within themselves and their communities throughout their lives.
