Award winning children’s entertainer and star of Treehouse TV, Markus, is a warm and engaging musician who draws young audiences into his choir as he conducts highly interactive and playful songs.

NEW! Fantastic Imaginations

Grades JK to 3 | max 250 or 2 classes/session, maximum 3 sessions/day | limited availability

Kathy and her daughter Hannah tap into children’s imaginations in this bilingual program. Through songs, finger plays, rhymes and musical games, children will experience and imaginary world where they’ll see blue cows and green pigs, take a trip on a golden boat and a rocket ship and meet Jack the Limberjack or Dirty Bill from Vinegar Hill!

NEW! Bees Knees

Grades JK to 3 | 1 class/session, maximum 3 sessions/day or performance maximum 100 

Songs, stories, fingerplays, silly rhymes, tongue twisters and chants introducing young children to the importance of bees in a world that is becoming harder for the bees to thrive.  Learn about bee anatomy, beekeepers, the different kinds and colours of honey, the amount of honey a bee produces, the different types of bees, and their social aspect.

NEW! Hands That Tell Stories, Fingers That Sing

Grades JK/SK | max 150 or 2 classes per session, max 4 sessions/day

Kathy shares many of her favourite traditional and original finger-plays and hand-tales in a fun and interactive program that develops and reinforces early literacy skills. Students participate in learning rhymes and songs as well as being introduced to some creative signs and American Sign Lanugage. Teacher resources includes a DVD of the material for use in both pre and post visit.

Music and Movement

Grades JK to 3, 150 as performance or as 1 class/session, maximum 3 sessions/day 

Along with their teacher, students delight in learning rhythms and songs through finger-plays, circle and party games with a selection of instruments including guitar, dulcimer, fiddle, banjo and bowed psaltery.

The Numbers Rhumba

Grades JK and SK, 150 as performance or as 1 class/session, maximum 3 session/day 

Kathy accompanies the students with dulcimer and guitar as they participate in familiar and not-so-familiar rhymes, finger-plays and songs to enhance numeracy.

Rhythm and Rhyme

Toddlers to Grade 1, 1 class per session, maximum 3 sessions/day

Come join the band! We’ll shake our shakers, ring our bells, tap our sticks and march in a band! We’ll learn how to listen and take turns while following simple instructions.

Tickle Tunes

Infants to pre-school, maximum 100 as an interactive performance 

What better way to begin a child’s language awareness than with rhymes, finger-plays and music. Easily learned, catchy enough to be remembered, and universal in its appeal, Kathy’s tickles and tunes delight the youngest of children.

Ken Whiteley

NEW! Musical Mystery Machines

Grades 1 to 3, 2 classes/session, maximum 3 sessions/day. Study guide and CD recording. 

Ken Whiteley leads students in an interactive sing-along that develops and reinforces the themes, concepts and vocabulary of simple machines.
