Pre-school/JK/SK

Brown Bag Lunch Talk – 1 hour (also available for PD Day – 1/2 day or all day, and for Family Literacy or ESL events)

On the same day of How To Do Rhymes with students, teachers/librarians meet with Sally and Erika to address teachers’ daily classroom needs in an informal, intensive and interactive workshop about rhymes: how to find them, do them, remember them and make them automatic in your aily classroom routine.  Build a collection for all occasions: hello, standing in line, transitions, building community, circle time, playground, call and response and even quiet time. The workshop gives teachers tools to initiate ongoing exchange in their school. Teacher Resource Workbook includes rhymes and resources.
