Primary/Junior/Intermediate/Senior

Bring North American French folklore alive in the classroom. Be it la Fête des rois, la Chandeleur, Mardi Gras or la Mi-Carême, there is a party to enliven every month of the year. Teachers will learn how to celebrate festive days through traditional songs, stories, food, dance and other cultural activities.

Marylyn Peringer

French Canadian Folktales and Legends

Primary/Junior/Intermediate/Senior

Marylyn is best known for her bilingual presentation of French-Canadian folktales and legends. Experience the power of the spoken word as Marylyn demonstrates the many uses of storytelling in teaching French as a second language.

Bill Russell

Learning French through Song

Primary/Junior/Intermediate

For teachers of French as a Second Language, this program provides methodologies and examples of teaching through songs, games and dances. Active participation throughout.
